Available to purchase in stores and online from March, this year's initiative volition focus more on the engineering of the garments in order to bring new energy to this classic British heritage inspired fashion.

Lighter fabrics and relaxed silhouettes volition signify the arrival of summer trends for River Island. With the stiff industrial feel behind the drove coming in the form of denim and work wear, new design techniques will bring pieces to life in a variety of different washes and silhouettes.

The bright hues associated with the warmer months are still echoed through shades of pink, greenish and blue whilst traditional prints accept not been forgotten with the inclusion of Aztec and floral designs.

One of the major advantages of the Holloway Road line is the versatility and easy transition between pieces. Lightweight jackets and shorts that could be suitable for the role have been styled downward with accessories and patterns – highlighting the possibility of blurring the line between casual and formal.
